Location, location, location! I have stayed in many places in Alexandria, both in Old Town and farther west, but I love being just off Mt. Vernon Avenue, with all its wonderful restaurants and shops. This apartment was so spacious and comfortable it was perfect for our group of 4. Everything was great.

We had unit A (ground floor and basement). Newly renovated, exceptionally clean and specially kitted for long-term stays (everything from a fully equipped kitchen to baby furniture to a clothing steamer) in a safe/desirable neighborhood. Basement had an excellent entertainment area (several large couches with oversized TV, a treadmill and Peloton with workout station, a pool table and a small sauna). Host's communication was outstanding. Smart lock made check-in a breeze. Air conditioning was excellent. Location is within a few hundred meters of several excellent restaurants and an Aldi grocery store and bus stops. Within a half-mile walk is the Metro station and numerous other outstanding restaurants. The dedicated driveway is sufficient for two cars (though there was always street parking available). Highly recommend for a family visiting the DC area for more than a few days.

This is a pristine almost new property in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Finding the street can be a little tricky, but the hosts were very proactive about that — and about everything else. They reached out regularly to make sure we were doing well and had everything we needed. Neighbors here are also friendly. The property was comfortable and spacious. This would be a great place to stay for anyone visiting friends or going to events at UVA or the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. It’s also just a short drive from Monticello, Carter Mountain Orchards, and other popular local places to visit. Parking is a bit tight but we had no trouble at all finding ample street parking while we were there. I highly recommend this property! It is good for families as well as groups of friends.

One of the best large-group homes we’ve stayed in. The 7 bedrooms, two full kitchens, plenty of bathrooms, and super comfortable beds made everything so easy for our group. The layout is perfect and there’s truly nothing else like it in the area. Spotless, well-designed, and an amazing host. Would absolutely stay again!

Loved this spot! This was in a great area, very walkable to restaurants, shopping, and also a Walgreens and CVS a couple min away (walking), so very convenient. Has parking which is nice. The space is lovely, plenty of space, clean, plenty of amenities. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot in the Del Ray area!

Stayed at this beautiful home .. came into town for a friends birthday. This home was so inviting and beautiful. So many nice touches and the bed was so comfortable. The owner was easy to communicate with and very prompt if I had any questions. Highly recommend staying here.

If you are seeking a home for a family while visiting UVA this is your place. The bedrooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms. You are located just a block from all the action and Grounds a few blocks away. We loved our stay and plan to book again in the future.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with pans and dishes, so we were able to make our own meals. The game room was a fun place to hang out. Overall, this place was a great place to stay during our vacation.

Excellent place to stay! Beautiful house, was even better than the photos. Very clean, quiet, easy walk or uber to downtown. Host is excellent, welcoming, helpful. Would stay again and highly recommend.

House was immaculate when we arrived. Very clean and felt right at home! Layout of home was perfect for our girls weekend which had 4 people. Beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient to everything (downtown Main Street Charlottesville, Monticello, etc) as well. One thing to note is that are there railroad tracks nearby so there is occasional train noise (one night the workers were dropping large items into the train beds which was very loud but stopped after a half hour). Erin was extremely responsive and a wonderful host too! Highly recommend house, location and host!!
